Johan Cruyff

Johan Cruyff (Dutch spelling: Johan Cruijff Johan Cruiff sheet) is a coach and former Dutch football player born April 25, 1947 in Amsterdam. It is undoubtedly one of the best strategists in the football competition with Brazil's Pele , Argentina's Diego Maradona, Michel Platini , the French or the German Franz Beckenbauer. He is the host of "total football" in the early 70's set up at Ajax Amsterdam. First player to get three European Golden Ball in 1971, 1973 and 1974, he is one of the best footballers of all time. He has 48 caps and 33 goals with Netherlands.

In Holland it is also known as the 'number 14'. At the beginning of the 1970-1971 season, coaching the Ajax decided to assign a number to each player, and this for the whole season. While everyone expected to choose the Johan Cruyff 9 or 10, he finally opted for the 14.
